Fanny over 19m in Minsk

Europe vs USA match was held this week in Minsk Belarus and Fanny Roos was among 4 athletes representing team Europe.

Fanny took the lead in the 2nd round with a high-level 18.79m, that was just 9cm from her NR. Other girls were also throwing really far, so Fanny had been pushed to 4th position with this result during the meet. But in the last round Fanny did something remarkable - her first 19m throw, new Swedish Record, 8th in the world season list, 2nd in the meet. 19.06m is in the history books and great night for Fanny and Swedish Athletics.
