Swedish Championships

The Swedish Athletes in the GT Group did really well this weekend in the Swedish Championships in Karlstad, Sweden.

Fanny Roos broke the Stadium Record as well as the Meet Record in the shot when she won with a 18.57m throw. She threw also a new PB 56.89m in the discus and surprisingly won that event as well. Very strong weekend for Fanny after the DL Final in Zurich on Thursday when she had 18.74m that was good enough for 7th place in a very strong final.

Daniel Ståhl threw as expected far in the Swedish Championships and had his 9th meet over 69m this year and ended up with 69.23m good enough to brake the Stadium Record in Karlstad in the 100 year old arena Tingvalla IP.

Niklas Arrhenius got the maximum out of the meet with a SB and silver in the shot with a 18.73m throw. In the discus he won his first medal since 2013 in the discus throw when he very strongly got the silver medal in his last throw with a 61.14m throw.

Jakob Gardenkrans got his highest position so far in the Swedish Championships when he got 4th with one of his best result ever 58.20m, very good by Jakob.

Simon Pettersson did not have a good day and got 3rd in the discus with 61.06m.

Totally the guys got 1st,2nd,3rd,4th in the discus. Niklas got 2nd in the shot. Fanny got 1st in shot and 1st in discus. Total of six medals for the group, three gold, two silver and one bronze. OUTSTANDING.
