Marcus with a new Personal Best

Marcus Thomsen gets just better and better every week. Today at the Norwegian U23 Junior Championships he threw his lifetime farthest throw 20.59m.

His PB since indoors this winter is 20.58m so now Marcus is back in same or even better shape he was indoors. It is absolutely great and I do not have words over how hard he has worked to come back after his back operation that was performed on May 5th.

Marcus will compete in three more meets in Estonia at the end of August and beginning of September to see if he can qualify for the WC but the qualification standard is now only 11cm away standing at 20.70m.

We congratulate Marcus on his new outdoor PB.

Kristo Galeta and Martin Kupper competed in Pärnu Estonia. Kristo had 19.71m and Martin 61.28m

European Shot Put Conference takes place in Tallinn, Estonia from 8-10 November 2019 and will be highlighted by lectures and practical demonstrations from some of the most renowned athletes and coaches associated with the event. Click here for programme and registration info.
