Marcus with another outdoor PB

Marcus Thomson competed in a strong meet in Luxembourg yesterday and improved his outdoor PB since two days ago in Göteborg from 20.28m that he had there to 20.46m. Marcus has only once thrown farther than that and that was this winter indoors when he had 20.58m. Marcus is just getting better and better and had a 17m standing throw in the warm up yesterday and 21m with full spin. That shows that more is to be expected from him soon. It is still a possibility that he would go to the WC in Doha but the qualification standard is 20.70m. That would be a big bonus and we see what happens. He has until 6 September to do it.
We congratulate Marcus on his new outdoor PB.
