We are working hard in Turkey

Now we have been here for little bit more than two weeks at the Gloria Training Center in Belek, Turkey.

We have been a little unlucky. Marcus pulled a chest muscle, Jakob twisted his ankle, Kristo got a cold for a day and Martin got a little back strain. All of the guys are recovering fast and it is nothing serious. We just had to adjust a little in the program for these guys but they have all been training even they had little problems and they are all doing well.

The rest of the gang Daniel, Simon, Fanny, Viktor, Daniella and Rait are doing fine and training hard. We have had some very good throwing here and far throws and training PB’s for Daniel, Jakob, Fanny, Viktor, Daniella and Rait. All of the throwers are developing in their technique and working very hard to get better and throwing lots of throws, doing drills, looking at videos etc.

I do not know how many PB´s we got in the weight room, but they are many. The athletes work very hard and support each other tremendously in the weight room. Daniel benched 200kg, Simon almost 5x150kg, Fanny super good in squats 5x150kg and deadlift 5x170kg and bench 5x100kg. Marcus and Jakob were on the way to do PB´s when they hurt themselves a little but Jakob managed to do 5x226kg in deadlift before it happened. Otherwise they wait for getting their PB´s until later. Kristo and Martin are doing really well in the weight room and are stronger than ever. Martin will go for a PB in the bench before he leaves.

Viktor is doing super did 3x250kg deadlift this week and all his lifts are improving. Rait is working hard every day and doing single, double, triple PB´s more or less daily. Daniella works submax to build up her body slowly without getting hurt.

So, we are happy and time flyes. It is a priviledge for me to work with this group, great athletes and great people that are all fired up to get better and throw farther.

One very important person is here with us for two weeks and that is our great super physical thearapist Tommy Eriksson that is doing miracles every day with the kids and keeping them in one piece. He does unbelivable work and we are very thankful to have him with us.

We have four training days left before we leave on May 1st.
