Martin Kupper and Kristo Galeta sign with Global Throwing

Global Throwing Coaching & Management has reached agreement with two Estonian throwers to join the group for at least two years, Martin Kupper and Kristo Galeta from Estonia.

Martin Kupper has a PB of 66.67m in the discus throw since 2015 and got 4th in the OG and 7th in the EC in 2016. He is 29 years old and worked with us earlier on in his career.
Martin comes now back to the group after six years with a goal to throw a new personal record and be a medal candidate again on the world level. He was very close in 2016 at the OG in Rio.

Kristo Galeta is a 35 year old shot putter that has a PB of 20.13m since this season. He is a former javelin thrower that switched over to shot put few years ago and threw with a glide for many years until last year when he changed to the rotational technique. Kristo has been working with Shaun Pickering for some years and has trained pretty much with or around our group and been with us on training camps for the last few years.
Now Kristo joins our group with a goal to break indoor (19.87m) and outdoor (20.53m) Estonian records and qualify for the OG in 2020.

We are very happy to get Martin and Kristo to the GT Group. Both athletes are willing to work hard for reaching their goals as athletes and both guys fit well into the group as great personalities.

We wish them all the best of luck.
