Outstanding performance for Fanny in Berlin

Few weeks ago Fanny Roos had 17.09m at the EC in Berlin that was her worst meet of the year. Today she competed in the same arena in the ISTAF meet and had 18.42m and got fourth in a very strong field of throwers.

It is Fanny’s second best meet ever and her 10th this year over 18m. Fanny did not hit it at the EC and mentally and technically it did not go. But, she did not give up and struggled back and started to work on her problems and then this today. OUTSTANDING.

Fanny and Daniel proved both this weekend that it is all about attitude. Daniel Had 66.74m in the DL on Friday, travelled all day on Saturday and had 68.00m the day after. Fanny did the same; she had 55.79m on Friday in discus. Then 17.95m on Saturday in shot in the same meet. Then travelled today to Berlin and threw 18.42m.

I love to work with people like that. Simon Pettersson did the same last week. He had a meet in Göteborg, Sweden and threw 63.29m and then travelled to Estonia the day after and had 63.54m.

But today it was all about Fanny Roos, absolutely great performance, CONGRATULATIONS.
