Daniel wins and Fanny throws a personal best

The second day of the Swedish Championships was held today in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The GT Group athletes competed in their B events today. Daniel and Simon in the shot put and Fanny Roos in the discus throw.

Simon did not get anything to go in the shot and was 6th in the meet with only about a 16m throw.

Daniel won the shot put with 18.78m and that was SB for him and a fine result.

Fanny threw really well in the discus and threw a big PB with 55.11m. She got second in the meet with that result.

We congratulate Daniel on the win and Fanny on her new PB. Great stuff!

European Shot Put Conference takes place in Tallinn, Estonia from 8-10 November 2019 and will be highlighted by lectures and practical demonstrations from some of the most renowned athletes and coaches associated with the event. Click here for programme and registration info.
