Simon and Mesud competed in Tartu

Legendary Gustav Sule memorial was held today in Tartu Estonia.

Simon Pettersson threw 63.20m and that gave him 2nd position. Simon series was 59.70 61.87 60.32 X 58.50 63.20. Fedrick Dacres won the meet with 68.12m and Gerd Kanter was third with 61.00m.

Mesud Pezer threw 20.04m today and that was enough for a second position behind Aleksei Nichipar 20.20m. Mesud series was 19.98 X X 20.04 X X.

It was the meet of a lifetime for our friend Kristo Galeta, who was with us in a camp in USA. Kristo threw a new PB 19.87m, but on the 5th round, he threw a massive throw, but unfortunately fouled it. We measured the throw afterwards and it was 20.98m.

"How to Become an Olympic Champion" is a video series by coach Vésteinn Hafsteinsson on example of Discus Throw legend Gerd Kanter. The first video series puts focus on Olympic Lifting for Throwers. Click here for more info.
