Tommy ‘’Tape” Eriksson is here

One of the biggest positive changes for us this year is that we get more time with our physical therapist Tommy Eriksson.

Tommy was with us in Fuerteventura for two weeks in January and for a week in Leiria in March and now he is with us here for almost three weeks.

Professionalism is about taking care of everything in the strive towards excellence and medals. Tommy is a world class physical therapist and exceptionally versatile in his knowledge about the body and an expert on taping.

Then he is a great guy and funny also. He brings unbelievable positivism around himself wherever he goes. We are very satisfied to have him here with us now to treat some small aches and pains and more important preventing injuries.

The Swedish Olympic Committee supports this cooperation and Daniel Ståhl and

Simon Pettersson are priority in relation to who Tommy should work with. Then he supports the others as well in the limited time he has every day.

I am very happy with Tommy’s cooperation and I hope it will continue for years to come.

"How to Become an Olympic Champion" is a video series by coach Vésteinn Hafsteinsson on example of Discus Throw legend Gerd Kanter. The first video series puts focus on Olympic Lifting for Throwers. Click here for more info.
