Great going in Chula Vista

We have been here in Chula Vista for two weeks now and it is going well:

Daniel Ståhl SWE, had 68.03m in the first meet and 64.98m in the second meet. His timing is little off and he needs more throwing in his body to throw the huge throws that he is known for, it will come.
Fanny Roos SWE, had 18.08m in the first meet and 18.68m in the second meet. (Swedish Record). She is doing outstanding both in the shot put circle and in the weight room.
Simon Pettersson SWE, did not throw in the first meet but had 64.58m in the second meet. Lifting better than ever and getting pretty damn strong actually. Simon is dealing with a little groin problem.
Jakob Gardenkrans SWE, had a big PB in the first meet 63.63m and qualified for the European Championships, unbelievable performance. In the second meet he missed all his throws. He just needs stability in his throwing, everything else is fine.
Niklas Arrhenius SWE, came by and competed once and had 60.34m. His seasonal best is 61.45m. He will compete tomorrow at Long Beach in the pee meet competition.
Mesud Pezer BOS, had 20.14m in the second meet. He is working very hard on his technique and did also some repetition PB’s in the weight room this week. Mesud has a little hand problem.
Marcus Thomsen NOR, competed also in the second meet and had 19.19m and has been working super hard. He will come along very much soon recovering from a sickness. He is almost back to normal now and getting very strong and technique is better.

Next meet is at Long Beach in Los Angeles, 24th Beach Invitational. (Information in the link down under.) Daniel, Simon, Fanny, Jakob, Mesud and Marcus will compete on Saturday 21st of April.

Tommy Eriksson our physical therapist is here and he is doing a great job treating the team.

Arttu Kangas the Finish shot putter and good friend came two days ago as well and will train with us here for two weeks. Shaun Pickering is of course here with his gang Marco, Kristo and Rait.

I as a coach am very happy with the atmosphere in the group. They are all working super hard.
