3 medals for Global Throwing in Leiria!

European Throwing Cup is held in Leiria Portugal and on the first day Global Throwing got 3 medals in discus throw. It all started with U23 Men competition, where Jakob Gardenkrans threw 57.73m, just few cm from his PB. That result gave Jakob Bronze medal at the meet. Huge success for Jakob in terms of International meet and getting the experience of call rooms, warm-up, meet etc.

Afternoon started the big guys show - Simon Pettersson was the first thrower in Men Discus A group and threw 64.30m. Simon followed up with 64.37m on second and a new amazing PB 65.81m in the 4th round and Silver. Great series and step up on international world. Simon beat many great throwers today, including the reign Olympic Champion.

Daniel Stahl hit a good throw already in the 1st round - 66.81m and that was enough for the win at European Throwing Cup.

Fanny Roos competed at womens shot put and had a good 17.88m throw and 4th position.

Congratulations to all of you. We are super proud!
