Seasonal best for Fanny in Växjö

Fanny Roos just got home from our training camp in Spain on Thursday and yesterday she started her season in Sätra Hallen in Stockholm with a throw of 17.29m in the meet Raka Spåret. Fanny was very unhappy about that result and decided to come home last night and compete in the District Meet in Växjö today. She just got done with that meet and did much better. In the meet she had three throws over 17.82m and the farthest was 17.88m. That is the same result as she did in the Swedish Championships last year before going to the EC indoors where she had 18.13m that is also her indoor PB.

Next meet is Nordenkampen in Uppsala next weekend and then the Swedish Championships in Gävle the weekend after that. We will keep on working on her feeling and timing and separation in the throw and it will result in farther throws as the shape is very good.
