Good for Leif and others

Leif Arrhenius has not been training as much as before this year; he works full time but keeps on enjoying the throws. Lately it has been more fun with the discus and yesterday he hit a new SB with 61.04m. We hope Leif will soon get the shot going as well.

As we told before the big result and a huge PB came from Marcus Thomsen this weekend but some other GT Group Members were in action as well.

Simon Pettersson and Jakob Gardenkrans threw in the Folksam Challenge meet in Göteborg yesterday. Simon had 62.38m and Jakob 54.53m. Good meet for both of them.

Mesud Pezer threw in two meets at home in Bosnia and had 19.95m and 20.27m. Good results for Mesud as well.

Daniel Ståhl had 64.44m in Hengelo tonight and got 3rd and it was fine as well.

Fanny Roos will compete in Spain on Wednesday and on the same day Simon and Jakob throw in Växjö and Daniel in Oslo DL on Thursday. It is a very exciting time and all the athletes have been performing really well so far.

"How to Become an Olympic Champion" is a video series by coach Vésteinn Hafsteinsson on example of Discus Throw legend Gerd Kanter. The first video series puts focus on Olympic Lifting for Throwers. Click here for more info.
