Good going for the GT Group

As you have seen lately and read here on the site there have been some great results for the members of the GT Group here in the beginning of the outdoor season.

Of course Daniel Ståhl started out with 68.36m and 68.11m in two meets in Salinas and then he had 63.97m in Irvine to follow up on it being 3rd in the first DL meet of the year in Doha with 64.14m.

Mesud Pezer has had two outdoor meets, 20.69m in Las Palmas and 20.89m at home in Bosnia. Feels better than ever and is ready within a month or so to throw 21m.

Niklas Arrhenius has thrown few meets in USA, 61.37m, 61.76m, 63.97m, 62.26m,61.14m and now this weekend 65.01m and a WC qualifier.

Simon Pettersson has thrown three outdoor meets on 62.24m, 63.67m and 64.77m. Simon is now only 23cm from the WC qualifier and has improved his PB twice in these three meets.

Fanny Roos threw an outdoor PB of 17.62m in her first outdoor meet this spring in the shot and improved her season best in the discus to 51.68m.

Jakob Gardenkrans has been doing great since he recovered from his sickness that he had after improving his PB big time in the middle of March to 56.83m. Then he improved that mark in Malmö to 57.95m and had another good meet this past weekend of 55.29m

Marcus Thomsen threw his first outdoor meet last week with the 6kg shot and hit right away 20.19m. His outdoor PB is 20.23m and we expect him to improve that big time this season.

Leif Arrhenius has not been training as before as he is working full time now but did seasonal best last week with 18.47m in the shot and he has thrown 57.50m so far in the discus. Leif still enjoys throwing and competing.

This start of the outdoor season is very, very good and I am looking forward to Halle in Germany this weekend with Daniel, Mesud, Simon, Fanny, Jakob and Marcus all being down here. We wish them all good luck.
