Niklas with seasonal best in Provo

After two good opening meets last week for the 2017 season of 61.37m and 61.76m in Los Angeles Niklas Arrhenius competed in a little throwing competition at home in Provo yesterday.
Niklas had four throws over 63m and the farthest measured 63.97m. It is a great start of the season for Niklas and probably more coming soon as he feels there is more in the tank. It is fun to follow Niklas that is 35 years old, father of three and works full time as a coach how he manages to throw on such a high level. We take our hats off for him with respect of love of the sport.

His brother Leif had a seasonal best as well when he threw 57.50m in the same meet.

"How to Become an Olympic Champion" is a video series by coach Vésteinn Hafsteinsson on example of Discus Throw legend Gerd Kanter. The first video series puts focus on Olympic Lifting for Throwers. Click here for more info.
