Niklas wins the shot

Niklas Arrhenius won the shot put at the Swedish Championships today in Falun, Sweden. Niklas put the shot 19.25m.

Niklas got sick in his stomach in Bedford three days ago and was sick for two days as M´rt was this past night. So, they caught something over there that affected their strength and energy.

Then Niklas lost the shot up from his fingers in his first throw today and had some serious pain in his hand after that. So, Niklas was a little unlucky I have to say. But, the main thing was to win the meet. His PR can fall next week instead as he is ready for 20m really.

Niklas will rest tomorrow and then go for the discus throw on Saturday. He is the favorite to win the discus as the shot and Niklas is in his best discus shape this year.

We hope for the best for Niklas for Saturday.
