Clinic in London and Bedford

Shaun Pickering the Throwers Coordinator in GBR and one of my best friends put on a clinic this week for the throwing coaches in GBR as well as their athletes.

Don Babbitt came one week ago and did lot of work during the week mostly on Shot Put and Hammer and then the day before the DL in London two of his athletes Adam Nelson and Reese Hoffa joined in.

Then the day after I had some lecture in London and later in Bedford after the BIG meet. Gerd, Märt and Niklas were also there. Then today we had some workshops with athletes and coaches all day.

The athletes that participated today were the GBR champions in discus Jade Nicholls as well as Brett Morse. Other participants were Lawrence Okoye, Zane Duquemin, Chris Scott and Angus Mcinroy.

I want to thank the athletes for these days together as well as their coaches, Nigel, John, Hugh and Andy. Also thanks to Don for the cooperation as well as Shaun that was the man behind the whole thing.

This was a positive experience were we exchanged ideas and had a good time.
