Niklas to the European Championships in both events

After a good PR the day before on the down town square in Karlstad, Sweden Niklas Arrhenius followed up in it by doing another great meet in the shot put with a throw of 19.34m.

As the day before he was in second place closely behind Russ Winger but behind Dan Taylor the day before. Both of these guys have thrown over 21m.

Niklas has then competed in four meets since he came over to Europe in shot put and the results have been: 19.39 July 3, 19.25 July 11, 19.61 July 14, and 19.34 July 15. This is good for Niklas and as said before there is more to come.

After the meet yesterday Niklas was officially nominated by the Head Coach of Sweden Stefan Olsson to compete at the European Championships in both shot and discus. He deserves that after hard work to come back after losing last year with a foot injury.

Kim Christensen had another bad meet after having a great meet the day before. In these meets named above that Kim as also participated in his series have been: 19.36 July 3, 18.47 July 11, 19.34 July 14, and 18.51 July 15. Kim just needs more consistency has his shape is very good and training has been going well.

Now both Kim and Niklas will travel down to us here in Alfas Del Pi tomorrow for the pre camp we have here. There they will join Gerd Kanter that is already down here preparing and then Märt Israel will join us as well soon.
