Great performances for Märt and Meigo

Yesterday Märt Israel continued his success with a 66.31m throw in the Kuldliiga meet in Viljandi, Estonia. Märt has been throwing better and better lately and this meet was as good as or better than he has ever done.

Märt has a PR of 66.56m since 2007 and it looks like he can beat that this year as he has already had many meets and many throws within each meet on 64-66m. It is really nice to see that it is going well for Märt again after being operated in November in his foot.

Meigo Tammsaar had 54.18m yesterday that is a new PR for him. Meigo is back now after a tough period earlier this year and it is great that he beats his PR since last year of 53.65m. Meigo can throw much farther than this but this is the first step towards throws over 55m.

Priidu Niit did not have a good meet but he has been doing very good lately with three personal bests already this season. He will come back next time.
