Great performances from Estonia

Märt Israel had probably his best meet ever in Kohila yesterday with a throw of 64.83m. Even if it is not a PR for Märt it has to be taken into consideration that there was no wind at all at the meet. Very impressive result for Märt.

The winner of the discus was as expected Gerd Kanter with a solid 67.96m and he keeps on putting on solid performances around 67-69m that is of course as good as it can be.

Priidu Niit had 55.62m and could not follow up on his great PR three days earlier of 57.41m, but still a good performance for Priidu.

Meigo Tammsaar had problems and only managed to get 51.92m that is 3-4m under his potential.

Very positive result then came from Raigo Toompuu in the shot put, 19.26m is his year best result after having 18.99m indoors this winter.

Overall a very good day in Kohila, Estonia.
