Kim Christensen probably competed in his biggest meet ever in his career on Friday when he was invited to compete in Bislett Games in Oslo that is a IAAF Diamond League event.
Kim threw the farthest he has done this year outdoors 18.92m but was struggling to stand in the circle again. Even if Kim did his best so far outdoors this result is way under his potential right now. Kim had 19.87m training PR last week and should have thrown much farther.
Still, if we look at some positive things then it was good for Kim to throw against the best and he was throwing much farther but could not stay in as last week. That is a problem that he has not had too much before and nothing else to do but try to train it in for the next few weeks.
Kim then competed for his club the day after in Denmark and had the same problem again and only got 17.98m in that meet. So, problem but we have to see the bright side of it and work on towards 20m that Kim should do this year.
