Kim and Nick open up their season

Kim Christensen and Nick Petersen, “the Danish Duo” opened up their indoors season in Göteborg, Sweden today.

Both athletes had a similar meet, lots of capacity, lots of power, lots of will to throw far but technique did not work up to a level needed for big throws.

Still Nick did a new PR indoors 18.32m. His previous best was 18.26 since last year. Nick looked really good in the warm up and opened up with this PR throw then he got five fouls in a row.

Kim was similar in that sense that he did 19.50m in the warm up and then also big fouls in the meet. The good thing about Kim was his way of competing and trying. He was close and he will hit a big one soon. Kim threw 18.72m.

For a first meet this was fine for the guys and much more to come for both.
